Weekend Mania
Saturday morning we woke up fairly early and went to the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History (according to the boys: Dinosaur museum). Like always, it felt like we were running through every exhibit to get to the next. As we were leaving the boys both got something from the gift shop again. Aiden got a T-Rex and Noah got a big cats puzzle and a small wind up dinosaur. They were happy. We headed home for a big lunch and spent an hour making it! But it was good! The boys rested and so did we.
We were all going to head to bricktown for the evening when my friend Audrey called and offered to watch the boys. It was so sweet of her and we were so appreciative. We went and saw the stockyards, toured the OKC Memorial, walked around the Bricktown canal, and ate dinner. Afterwards we got a starbucks coffee and headed home. We got home close to midnight. The boys and Audrey were asleep and we all crashed for the most part. The coffee didn't help Aunt Kim sleep very well and Tim was up quite awhile goofing with Fantasy Football.
The next day we decided to go to Incredible pizza and that was a blast! We had to find something indoors with the record hight temperatures outside. This was the best place. They had indoor go carts, bumper cars, miniature golf, arcades, climbing toys, and bowling! We were there over 3 hours. It felt like 3 hours too. The boys had everyone going a million directions. "I want to play basketball, I want to play mini golf, I want to throw the balls, I want to do that, I want to do this!" hahahaha..
They basically did everything and Wyatt had a pretty good time too. Aiden and Daddy raced against me and Noah in the Nascar go cart race. It was lots of fun. Aiden and Daddy got 1st place and a ribbon for it! When we left Incredible Pizza we were all very thirsty and stopped by the Sonic across the road and got Route 44 drinks. Way more than any of us could drink, (except for Tim). We again rested for a few hours at home before we headed to Norman to eat at Ted's Cafe Escondido, rated the best Mexican Resteraunt in the OKC metro area. They were right! It was delicious! Of course Noah and Wyatt didn't last very long. Can you imagine dinner with a 4, 2, and 1 year old? It was good for awhile and then they were tired of eating chips, hahahaha...We decided to get sopapillas to go..hmmmm..wonder why? hehehe....
What is a trip to Norman without Walmart? We had to get a few things, including OU shirts. Aunt Lisa and Aunt Kim bought Noah and Aiden their favorite movies that had been lost. They were so happy. We watched cars the rest of the night until everyone was asleep in the living room....bed again...and 4:15 wake up call for Aunt Kim, Aunt Lisa, and Tim...they had to be at the airport by 6:00. The boys and I slept in and when Tim came home he crawled back in bed too.
Today was a lot more laid back (like normal)....it was a nice relaxing day....and then we had a Dr's appt for Wyatt at the ear nose and throat specialist...we had to wait over an hour to see him and Wyatt got very cranky (screaming and crying) after the first 30 minutes we were there...then we see the doctor and he tells me that Wyatt should probably get tubes in his ears...so now we are waiting for that appt....I am just glad that Wyatt is going to stop having so many ear infections!
This evening I mowed while Daddy and the boys played in our miniature swimming pool and took baths. Wow, this is a long blog! I am trying to get the video from this weekend up, but I have to do it over because you tube doesn't accept videos longer than 10 minutes. I need to break it apart and save it as 4 seperate files. It takes forever to do this!! Each one takes over an hour! Keep looking for them though!
