School Days

First, I am sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time....and I am here to make excuses, hahaha...First week of school for the boys, Tim was in Georgia, I had my grandma and dad here all week, Wyatt's birthday was Sat and we had a little party...mom came down for the weekend...All three boys had a little bug at different times this week...I had a conference at school for 2 days from 8-4:30....AAAAHHH...

Aiden's first day of Pre-K was a week ago today. What a first day of school! The night before Tim ironed all of their clothes, t-shirts, jeans, (and maybe even underwear, hahaha, for those of you who know Tim well, you know how he likes to iron!) anyways....we waited to get dressed that morning until after breakfast to make certain our clothes stayed clean....Aiden didn't eat that well so I made him a chocalate milk in a sippy cup to go. We were all crawling in the suburban, bags, kids, and all in the rain...I hear Aiden start to cry and I look in and the lid had come off of his sippy cup and dumped all over him, his carseat, and the car.....needless to say we went to school the first day with un-ironed clothes and an unhappy face....he didn't get to wear his shark shirt the first day...It went better when we got there because he was so excited, grinning ear to ear...

Noah is going to Mother's Day Out at the same place and he also started that day. His morning was full of tears. He didn't want mommy to leave him. I walked him into his classroom as he was allready crying...everyone else in there was crying too. First day blues I guess. Those poor women, there were 2 of them to 12 crying 2 year olds. Of course it got better as the morning went on but that first hour must have been tough.

Speaking of school, I am not sure who knows about the situtation. I am working on my PhD starting this semester and I am very concerned that I will not have enough time to keep up with that and the kids. Because of this I enrolled Noah and Wyatt into a Mother's Day Out program for the week. They are only away from mommy from 9-3, which isn't too long...because we just moved here at the beginning of the summer all the programs were full. Enrollment is in March for most programs. Noah easily got into Trinity Lutheran with Aiden for Mon,Tues,Thurs,Fri....Wyatt was put on the waitlist...So I started looking for Wyatt someplace...I found a Northhaven church North of town, probably a 15 minute or more drive from Trinity..they had a program on Tues and Thurs and had room for him....then I got a call that they had room at McFarlin Methodist, one mile from Trinity that they had room for Wyatt and Noah. They have a program that runs Mon,Wed, Fri...So I was going to be driving all over town dropping off and picking up kids....

Now that you know the background, I got a phone call last Thurs that Trinity Lutheran had an opening for Wyatt for all days but Wed!!! What a blessing!! Not only will they all be at the same place for most of the week, but tuition for the 3rd child there is 50% off!!!! WOOooHHOOOOO!! So now I only needed to take Noah and Wyatt to McFarlin on Weds....today I got a phone call that they had an openig on Wed for Noah now so I am just waited for one spot on one day to open up for Wyatt.....I never would have dreamed that it would turn out this great before I even began classes...It will also be so much better for the boys to be at one place with the same people all the time. They will feel so much more comfortable.
I know Wyatt's birthday has allready occured, but I will post on that a little later...I have to get caught up!!! I tried to load pictures just now and the thumb drive isn't working right....I also have a another disc almost full on the video camera so you will get more videos...
