Mornings

I usually don't mind not having any privacy at home. I take the kids to school at 9:00 and have until 3:00 before I pick them up. I get a lot done during this time and have a lot of "quiet time" if you can call it that. So the no privacy issue at home doesn't usually bother me....unless.....it is this morning......hahaha...... I went to bed late....my alarm went off every 5 minutes from 5:30 until 6:05, and the minute I sat up, Wyatt started crying.

Most of the time he will play in the bathroom while I am taking a shower and getting ready. He gets into the drawers and pulls out rollers, bottles of lotion, Q-tips...brushes...you name it...today.....he did not want me to put him down...he screamed bloody murder when I got in the shower so he got in with me.....he screamed in the shower unless I was holding him.... (have you ever tried to wash your hair holding a baby??...doesn' t work) so I would put him down, screaming, and wash the shampoo out of my hair...I would pick him up and get him to quit crying and then start it over again with the conditioner.

Then he gets soap in his eyes....ggeeeezzzz, finally we get out, I dry him off, put a diaper on him and Noah walks in....he wants me to hold him.....So I sit down on the floor...I still haven't gotten dressed....but Wyatt is jealous so he starts crying again, I try to hold him to, but Noah gets mad because Wyatt is touching him......I finally put Wyatt in the sink and he starts squirting lotion out on the counter (oh well, he isn't crying) and he quit crying....he played while I got ready. Noah went and found some toys and was quiet as well....

I am running late now....No one is dressed but me at this point....No one has ate breakfast or had their medicine...I haven't made Aiden's lunch...Noah wants an apple, but it has to be cored with the apple slicer and then each individual piece has to be cut smooth with a knife (ask Noah)... Wyatt doesn't want to eat anything but what Noah has, and he doesn't want to share...Aiden wants a corn dog...for breakfast...and then they sit and play and don't eat....We do get out the door and on our way to school, on time...everyone was fine and you wouldn't have known what kind of morning we had....except that I have a headache still!

I just thought I would give you something to laugh about today. My morning.
