LOL. For the most part, I was wrong! Noah whimpered a little bit when I left for the final time (I took Aiden to his classroom and came back to Noah). Aiden hugged me several times, not wanting to let go...and Wyatt just sat down at his table in his classroom and waited for them to serve breakfast...no crying, nothing... I thought it went well.

At 3:08, I pull into the parking lot and ended up in a line of cars to pick up kids. This was my first experience with the "pick up line". .... and it wasn't a good one. I could see my boys waiting for me and couldn't get to them! People were getting out of their cars to put kids in cars and that left the rest of us stuck... I will park tomorrow and walk up to get them.

Aiden got into the car and immediately started sobbing. I guess he got in trouble at the end of the day for not raising his hand and trying to talk to the teacher..had to stand in the hallway facing the wall.....Definitely something Aiden would do, he loves to talk. He was also thirsty and his head hurt when he got in. I pull up to get Noah and he jumps in with a grin on his face. I thought he would have had a bad day, but he didn't! He told me all about it and was so excited. He said he got to eat two lunches (breakfast and lunch actually) and sang his ABC's. He also walked on the sidewalk outside in a train. I asked him if he met any new friends and he said yes, but only the listening ones...LOLOL.....He said one boy didn't listen and he is not my friend...poor guy....We drove back into Blanchard to pick up Wyatt. Noah went in with me while Aiden stayed in the car crying and watching a movie. Wyatt ran to us and was so happy. They said that it was karaoke day and that he loved it! Sno Cones and home for a few hours before gymnastics. After some snacks and TV time and a lot of talking with mommy, Aiden was doing much better. He also talked to granny and mama on the phone which helped too.

Last year they went to school 30 minutes from home and did gymnastics and soccer there too. We never had time to drive home and back for those extra things so we stayed in Norman. I would have to pack the whole house it seemed in the mornings because wouldn't be home until 6:30 or 7:00. It wore us all out. Now school is close to home and gymnastics is too. It is so nice and the boys seem much happier.

(Sigh~) They are growing up so fast.

Days fly by.

It has been almost a year. Time has definitely gotten away from me. Aiden is going to be in first grade. Noah is going into pre-kindergarden. Both boys will be at Middleberg Public Schools this year. It is a new experience for us all. Wyatt is also changing schools this year. Everyone will be less than 5 minutes from home. Tim is still at Fort Sill doing great things. He gives 110% to everything he does. I am always busy with research now. I enjoy it (when I can get past the overwhelming amount of things yet to be done!)

I wanted to post a few pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

Wyatt's Birthday

We went camping at Skiatook Lake with Mama and Granny over the weekend for Wyatt's birthday. The family reunion on my mother's side was also this weekend in Skiatook. We arrived Friday night after dark and pitched a tent on a hill, hahaha, it wasn't bad sleeping...the boys slept in the camper with Granny and Mama....aaahhhh, some relief! Of course, the neighbors were partying until all hours of the night Friday and Saturday night. This made for an interesting first few hours of the night. As soon as the sun started coming up we were up! The boys fished in the morning and played by the water. Wyatt took an early nap and when he woke up, Jonci and Jadyn were there to play! They had so much fun. We ate lunch, had cake, opened presents and then went swimming at the swimming beach. Wyatt had a great birthday! The next day we packed and went over to the family reunion to mingle with the other 105 relatives there. There were 29 kids under the age of 10! WOW! Well I guess that is all for now!

Sneaky Boys Got Caught

Background: Wyatt's Birthday is this weekend so I bought his presents yesterday. They were in the back of the suburban in bags so that the boys couldn't see them. Wyatt wasn't going to look anyway, right? I also got Aiden and Noah something small just because. Noah loves my camera and can take pretty good pictures. He knows how to use it pretty well.

What Happened: Wyatt was asleep and the boys were watching a move in the car. I parked at the front door of the vet clinic, left the car running, and ran in to buy flea medicine. I came out to find the boys scrambling to their seats (Wyatt was still asleep). I get in and Aiden hands me the camera and says it is working.....I turn it on to find that the mode dial was in video mode and Noah had taken some video. I asked if they peaked in the bags for Wyatt's birthday and I get a "no we didn't". I say, tell me the truth, and I get...."well....we only saw the box of train track".....I said, you didn't see anything else...."no".....tell me the truth...."well......we saw the legos.....and this goes on until I hear from them that they saw everything. The funniest part is the video that got them caught. You can click on the video in the left hand corner of the blog under "My Videos".

If you didn't know, only 4 videos will show at a time on the blog. If you want to see the rest of them you have to go to www.youtube.com and search for Leslie Keiser. The rest of the videos should pull up.

<img width='1' height='1' Once we figured out where the hillbilly shower was located (an outdoor showerhead that stays running for those who want to stand under it and cool off). We thought that we were going to get soaked on the Renegade Rapids ride, but to our shock, it was closed down. We rode the log ride most of the day! Aiden and Wyatt love it and Noah tolerates it. It was nice to see Joncie, Jayden, Stacy, and Jonathan.

Summer Fun

Wyatt is trying out his new nap mat on the patio table.

Mama and Granny with the boys at Medicine Park, Oklahoma.

The Beach at Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area in the Wichita Mountains.

Do you remember the movie "Weekend at Bernies" ? I heard this tonight from Tim who witnessed this situation. Tim had been in the other room and was walking down the hallway when he heard giggling in the bathroom. The door was cracked and so he opened it the rest of the way to see quite a sight. Noah was going to the bathroom and when Noah goes to the bathroom (#2) he straddles the toilet so that if you happen to walk by and the door is open you have a direct view of everything going on....(see told you it was grotesque)....so Tim opens the door and he sees Noah straddling the toilet and Wyatt and Aiden squatted down in front of him like catchers...Wyatt is pointing and sayinig "look, look", and Aiden is saying, "oooooohhhhgrooooossss" oooohh, here comes another one....."ooooohhhgggrrooooss" .....LOL... Tim then kicked everyone out of the bathroom!

We have a spot that Aiden and Noah go to for time out now. It is in the entry hall on either side of the quilt cabinet. They know where to go and they know their nose has to be in the corner. Tim told the boys to go to time out for something and they did...Wyatt then preceeded to go to time out as well.... as if he was in trouble....so Tim and my Dad got a picture and here it is...

TIME OUT

Noah's teacher was very surprised today, as well as the cafeteria ladies, that he wanted seconds of brocolli....and I finally got a program for the computer to edit my videos and post to youtube so that I can put them on my blog....hopefully I will start doing that again soon...I guess that is all for now!

                                                               Noah riding his gator

                                                            Noah eating an orange

Wyatt in Ohio State attire on the bench in the backyard

Mornings

I usually don't mind not having any privacy at home. I take the kids to school at 9:00 and have until 3:00 before I pick them up. I get a lot done during this time and have a lot of "quiet time" if you can call it that. So the no privacy issue at home doesn't usually bother me....unless.....it is this morning......hahaha...... I went to bed late....my alarm went off every 5 minutes from 5:30 until 6:05, and the minute I sat up, Wyatt started crying.

Most of the time he will play in the bathroom while I am taking a shower and getting ready. He gets into the drawers and pulls out rollers, bottles of lotion, Q-tips...brushes...you name it...today.....he did not want me to put him down...he screamed bloody murder when I got in the shower so he got in with me.....he screamed in the shower unless I was holding him.... (have you ever tried to wash your hair holding a baby??...doesn' t work) so I would put him down, screaming, and wash the shampoo out of my hair...I would pick him up and get him to quit crying and then start it over again with the conditioner.

Then he gets soap in his eyes....ggeeeezzzz, finally we get out, I dry him off, put a diaper on him and Noah walks in....he wants me to hold him.....So I sit down on the floor...I still haven't gotten dressed....but Wyatt is jealous so he starts crying again, I try to hold him to, but Noah gets mad because Wyatt is touching him......I finally put Wyatt in the sink and he starts squirting lotion out on the counter (oh well, he isn't crying) and he quit crying....he played while I got ready. Noah went and found some toys and was quiet as well....

I am running late now....No one is dressed but me at this point....No one has ate breakfast or had their medicine...I haven't made Aiden's lunch...Noah wants an apple, but it has to be cored with the apple slicer and then each individual piece has to be cut smooth with a knife (ask Noah)... Wyatt doesn't want to eat anything but what Noah has, and he doesn't want to share...Aiden wants a corn dog...for breakfast...and then they sit and play and don't eat....We do get out the door and on our way to school, on time...everyone was fine and you wouldn't have known what kind of morning we had....except that I have a headache still!

I just thought I would give you something to laugh about today. My morning.

Sweet People

Something very special happened to us this week. Kelly is Natalie's mommy in Wyatt's 1 year old class. We always speak when we see each other at school and usually get 10 to 15 minutes to talk in the mornings waiting for the childcare hours to begin because we both have to drop off kids that are in the school which starts earlier. I know she is from Blanchard and has two children. She does Affair of the Heart and I think she has her own business out of her home. Natalie comes on Mon, Wed, and Fri....Wyatt goes on Mon,Tues,Thurs,Fri...I would like him to go all five days because this semester has gotten very hectic very quickly. Wyatt was running in and out of his class this last Wed morning while I was dropping off Noah. Kelly asked what days Wyatt came and I told her, and also said I wished he came all week though. The very next day Trinity called me and said that Kelly wanted to give Wyatt Natalie's spot on Wednesdays. She told the secretary that she felt selfish and didn't need to bring Natalie three days a week. What an amazing woman and what an amazing blessing.

On a lighter note...the kids have been obsessed with playing behind our loveseat which is in the corner of the living room..so there is a space behind it....they climb over the back and throw all the pillows back there. They pretend that Wyatt is a monster and scream, oh my goodness, do they scream....when Wyatt climbs over too! Yes, he climbs over the back of the couch and lowers himself down. The kids will help him back over, but usually I have to pull the couch out so he can get out. It is so funny...I took a picture the other day when they were all back there. What a trio....

Aiden has been going with Brooklyn, the little girl who lives behind us, to AWANAS every Sunday night at a baptist church in Dibble. Her mom is the director and invited him awhile back and he absolutely loves going. They have a puppet show, they sing, they have a bible story, and review a bible verse that we are supposed to help them memorize for that week. They play and have snack to wrap it up. We are glad that he likes going.

So, because Aiden is gone on Sunday nights, Noah and Wyatt have playtime by themselves. They haven't gotten a lot closer and Wyatt is learning a lot of ....Noah....hahaha....They are wild and getting wilder. And if you haven't had the privelage of calling our house, you should. It is absolutely hilarious. Everyone seems to do the same thing....Okay, yah, okay, talk to you later...sounds nice.... (you can't hear what we are saying because it is so NOISY in our house!!) We try to talk, but it never seems to work unless you lock yourself in the bedroom, and then go in the closet and shut the door...hahaha...I really do that sometimes...just for a minute...)

School started back for me on the 20th and I was relieved to have a normal routine again. This routine lasted for 2 days. Wyatt had Dr.'s appointments last week and then Noah got sick on Monday of this week. Daddy stayed at Ft. Sill all week because of the ice and we didn't have school until Thursday mid-morning. It was like Christmas break all over again!

Aiden had a blast sledding on the toy box lid

The only difference was that mommy had lots of work to do becuase the semester had started. Because Noah was sick, naptimes didn't match up with anyone so there was never a moment when I didn't have someone saying "mommy, mommy"... Tuesday night when the ice was still as bad as it was the first day, Wyatt decided to split his head open. It wasn't too bad. In fact, I had to email a picture of Wyatt's head to Kim, Tim's sister who is a nurse, and ask if I needed to take him to the ER. She said yes, so we braved the roads. It took an hour to get to Norman, which was shorter than I expected it would take me. Wyatt had his wound glued and we went home.

Wyatt is now sick with what Noah had. He came down with his on Friday and couldn't go to school. Everyone still has a cough, but they are going to school tomorrow..

Joncie and Aiden just chilling in the petting zoo

We had to go to Tulsa this weekend because I had a class to go to at TCC that I will be teaching this summer. We met Stacy, Joncie, and Jayden at the zoo on Saturday. You wouldn't know that Aiden and Joncie hadn't seen each other since this summer. Everyone had a great time.

Everyone is sitting on the aldabra tortoise.

November

Redneck hid-a-bed at granny and papa's

All three boys spent an entire weekend at Granny and Papa's house in Talala. They had a lot of fun and the pictures are proof!! The email I got from my dad had a few pictures of the sleeping arrangement. He called it a redneck hid-a-bed. Of course the boys were spoiled rotten when they came home Sunday!

Another shot of the redneck hide-a-bed

Yesterday Daddy was reading a book to the boys when Aiden told his daddy that in Mexico you say hello in Mexican and in Russia you say hello in Russian..."Daddy how do you say hello in Russian?" and Daddy said, "I don't know Aiden"....Aiden replied, "Well I know goodbye in Russian is Paka daddy." Daddy said, "where did you learn that??" and Aiden said he learned it from the Russian lady. Daddy said, "what russian lady?" and Aiden told him "that a Russian lady comes to his school and teaches them Russian words and shows them Russian things and Dad when you are in Russia you have to speak Russian." Aiden also said, "Russia is very far away, Is it close to Blanchard? and then talked about how far it was away. Daddy was shocked that he knew this and so was I!!

Aiden made butter in class today and planted corn the other day. He is really enjoying Pre-K. Wyatt gives his teacher a big hug in the mornings. Her name is Mrs. Sheila and she is so wonderful with him and all the children she watches. She always has wonderful things to say about Wyatt. Noah has been ornery at school almost every day this week. His teacher, Mrs. Claire, says she thinks that he is finally coming out of his shell!! I told her that is great because now I am not the only one that gets the brunt of his stubborness! Hahaha...

Noah's 3rd birthday is this weekend and he is so excited. Papa is allready singing happy birthday to him all the time. Today he got a birthday card from Grampa Keiser and he was so excited. He carried it around everywhere.

One more funny story: This evening the kids were playing in the garage with all of their toys and I took the baby to the other side of the yard to do some yardwork. I told Aiden and Noah to come with me and I expected them to wander over there eventually. When I walked over there the neighbor saw me and motioned me over to her yard just 20 ft away. After a few minutes we hear Noah screaming for me!! I turned around and he was standing in the middle of the woods looking at the other neighbor's house holding his shoes and his pants! He was standing there in his underwear! He must have gone potty and wasn't able to put his pants back on and he was yelling, "Mommy, I can't put my shoes on!" with tears and all. Of course, he saw me and I helped him get dressed.

For those of you that know what this used to look like, We have grass now!

These are the woods that Noah was standing in with only his underwear on.

Typical afternoon at the Keiser house after school, FOOD!

Well that is all for now. Expect more soon since Noah's birthday is coming up.

October

Aunt Kindell had her wedding a few weeks ago in Arkansas. We had a lot of find getting ready to go and there at the cabin where her wedding was. We went hiking and caving and hung out with the family. The boys have been sick off and on, we all have actually, and school has been very very busy being the middle of the semester. Aiden was an army man for halloween. Noah had that costume as well but decided not to dress up. They had a trick or treat parade at their school and Aiden had a fall party that afternoon. The weather has been beautiful here and the kids have done a lot of playing outside lately.

Today at the grocery store Aiden was walking with his daddy down the aisle and saw some marshmallow packages that had fallen on the floor and he decided to pick them up without even being asked even though he didn't knock them down. Daddy was so proud of him.

Pictures

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256488664475809986" style="DISPLAY: block; It has been tough getting back into school again! The boys have been great though it all though. Mommy had a 4 day trip away from them in mid-September. Granny and Mama came down and took care of them on that Thursday and Friday. They had them 24/7 for those 2 days!! I think it took them a whole week to recover!

Aiden can write his name very well now and is getting so much better at coloring and staying in the lines. Noah will go all day without his "wee" (blanket) at school now. His teacher, Mrs. Claire, is so proud of him. Wyatt's teachers think he is a cherub and have nothing but great things to say about him every day. He has become a climber recently and will climb anything! We have to remove the ladder for the bunk bed daily because we found him on the top bunk, holding onto the foot board, bouncing up and down. Yikes!!! He also pulls himself up on the handrail in the bathtub so that he is standing on the edge of the bathtub. He stands on top of the back of the couch and climbs to the top of the slide outside and stands on it too!

Aiden had his birthday this past week and part of the party was a night out in the tent with daddy and Noah. They camped with their new sleeping bags and watched dvd's all night long on the portable dvd player. Aiden also got walkie talkies for his birthday and that became his favorite present very quickly. He would call into the house from the tent for more chocolate milk and always said "roger dodger" when he was finished talking. We can thank granny for that one....last night and today they have watched "Over the Hedge" at least 1o times...Thank you Aunt Lisa and Uncle Larry! We don't normally watch this much tv, but mommy and daddy were sick sick yesterday and today we were in the car all afternoon at Ft. Sill and the Wildlife Refuge. They had a blast climbing around on Mt. Scott.

Okay, so this update was a little long and I still have so much more to talk about! I hope everyone is enjoying fall and I will try and to keep this blog going better than I have.

Wyatt B-Day Pics

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5241204635685331010" style="DISPLAY: block; He had his own little cake and he definitely mutilated it. We are still debating on whether he ate any of it or not. Those in attendance: Mommy,Daddy,Noah,Aiden,Granny,Papa, Mama, Audrey, Eric and Shelly Taylor and their daughter Erica. There were hamburgers and hot dogs, pasta salad, chips and dip...and of course cake and ice cream. Oh and we also had a cocunut creme pie that Mama made especially for Papa.

Wyatt opened up lots of presents with help from Aiden and Noah....well Aiden and Noah opened presents and played with them while Wyatt watched...hahaha....He had fun though. The biggest hit was the little 4 wheeler that makes lots of cool noises. Erica and the boys enjoed the mega playhut with the tunnels and the ball pit. It was a fun day!

I trimmed Wyatt's hair today to appease his daddy. He was going to take him and have shaved!!! Hopefully this compromise will last. That is all that is coming to mind at the moment...I am going to try and keep up with this again someday.... ;)

Growing Up

Wyatt learned to wave this week and he knows when to use it. This morning we said bye to Aiden at school because he goes to class 15 minutes earlier than the other two and started for the little guy's classrooms. You have to make a turn down the hall to get there. I turned along with Noah and (wyatt is walking) Wyatt decided to wave and smile really big. He then preceeded to take off the other way towards the exit. When he saw that I was coming he got on all fours (it is faster for him still) and headed into the teacher's lounge and under the table as fast as he could. It is obvious that he knows mommy is going to leave him and it is also obvious that he knows how to be cute. ;) He only cries for a few seconds and by the time I have shut the door and peeked back in he has stopped crying and is playing. He really is happy there.

School Days

First, I am sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time....and I am here to make excuses, hahaha...First week of school for the boys, Tim was in Georgia, I had my grandma and dad here all week, Wyatt's birthday was Sat and we had a little party...mom came down for the weekend...All three boys had a little bug at different times this week...I had a conference at school for 2 days from 8-4:30....AAAAHHH...

Aiden's first day of Pre-K was a week ago today. What a first day of school! The night before Tim ironed all of their clothes, t-shirts, jeans, (and maybe even underwear, hahaha, for those of you who know Tim well, you know how he likes to iron!) anyways....we waited to get dressed that morning until after breakfast to make certain our clothes stayed clean....Aiden didn't eat that well so I made him a chocalate milk in a sippy cup to go. We were all crawling in the suburban, bags, kids, and all in the rain...I hear Aiden start to cry and I look in and the lid had come off of his sippy cup and dumped all over him, his carseat, and the car.....needless to say we went to school the first day with un-ironed clothes and an unhappy face....he didn't get to wear his shark shirt the first day...It went better when we got there because he was so excited, grinning ear to ear...

Noah is going to Mother's Day Out at the same place and he also started that day. His morning was full of tears. He didn't want mommy to leave him. I walked him into his classroom as he was allready crying...everyone else in there was crying too. First day blues I guess. Those poor women, there were 2 of them to 12 crying 2 year olds. Of course it got better as the morning went on but that first hour must have been tough.

Speaking of school, I am not sure who knows about the situtation. I am working on my PhD starting this semester and I am very concerned that I will not have enough time to keep up with that and the kids. Because of this I enrolled Noah and Wyatt into a Mother's Day Out program for the week. They are only away from mommy from 9-3, which isn't too long...because we just moved here at the beginning of the summer all the programs were full. Enrollment is in March for most programs. Noah easily got into Trinity Lutheran with Aiden for Mon,Tues,Thurs,Fri....Wyatt was put on the waitlist...So I started looking for Wyatt someplace...I found a Northhaven church North of town, probably a 15 minute or more drive from Trinity..they had a program on Tues and Thurs and had room for him....then I got a call that they had room at McFarlin Methodist, one mile from Trinity that they had room for Wyatt and Noah. They have a program that runs Mon,Wed, Fri...So I was going to be driving all over town dropping off and picking up kids....

Now that you know the background, I got a phone call last Thurs that Trinity Lutheran had an opening for Wyatt for all days but Wed!!! What a blessing!! Not only will they all be at the same place for most of the week, but tuition for the 3rd child there is 50% off!!!! WOOooHHOOOOO!! So now I only needed to take Noah and Wyatt to McFarlin on Weds....today I got a phone call that they had an openig on Wed for Noah now so I am just waited for one spot on one day to open up for Wyatt.....I never would have dreamed that it would turn out this great before I even began classes...It will also be so much better for the boys to be at one place with the same people all the time. They will feel so much more comfortable.

I know Wyatt's birthday has allready occured, but I will post on that a little later...I have to get caught up!!! I tried to load pictures just now and the thumb drive isn't working right....I also have a another disc almost full on the video camera so you will get more videos...

Back to Business

I think I forgot to mention before that Wyatt is now a walker and not a crawler. Everywhere he goes he walks. I can't wait until you can see how bow-legged he is right now. Tonight he walked from the living room down the hall through our bedroom and into the master bathroom to get into the cat food bowl on the floor. I brought him back in the living room and I said I am gonna get you! and he got excited and took off down the hall only to turn and hold on to the wall to see if I was really chasing him.

Last night was a busy night. Trinity Lutheran School had their open house last night. Aiden and Noah got to see their new classrooms and meet their teachers. Noah didn't want anything to do with his classroom. He clung to daddy and wouldn't even raise his head up off daddy's shoulder. Aiden, however, loved his classroom and was very polite to his teacher. He is in a Pre-K4 class of 20! Wow...after we left Aiden's room Noah was actually walking next to us so we went back to his room. He came a few steps in the door and then backed out and stood down the hallway...Monday morning, first day of school, is not going to be fun for Noah. In the parking lot he said, "I am sad about my class, I want to stay with you." :( Poor little guy....

We went to Target and then had Coldstone Creamery ice cream.. yum yum...and then we headed home. At home we had a cake with candles and birthday noise makers. The boys sang happy birthday to mommy and we had some icing....the boys didn't eat the cake...hahaha...then we had lots of fun getting everyone to sleep...the picture was taken moments after we blew out candles...almost a perfect picture! We are so lucky that Noah was smiling!

Today we found out that Tim is going to be in Savannah Georgia next Tuesday through Friday for Army stuff. Luckily, Mama is going to be here during that time because I have a reserach seminar at OU that lasts longer than the mother's day out program for the boys...I am definitely lucky to have her help. From last August until the end of May when we moved down here, Tim lived in Lawton during the week and came home most weekends. For four months of that time he was in El Paso, TX and we only saw him a few days. It has been so nice down here because he has been home every single night. This will be the first night away since we lived in Tulsa!

We cleaned and etched 2/3's of the garage floor tonight because in the morning we are painting it with Epoxy floor paint. Soooo....that means we have to set the alarms for very early so we can get it done before 3 rugrats climb out of bed!! It always is so late when I type these!

Vacation Week

I can't believe I have procrastinated a whole week! Well, Tim was on leave this whole week so I can blame it on him. hahaha...We stayed very busy and very worn out. After Kim and Lisa left on Monday we laid around the house all day trying to recover from such a wonderful but busy 4 days. Tuesday I had a day to get some shopping and errands done while daddy stayed home with the boys. Daddy did a lot of cleaning while the boys played. He said they wouldn't listen all day. They wouldn't eat, they wouldn't take naps...daddy is such a softy .... ;)

Wednesday morning daddy got up before daylight and started working on the pond next door. When we bought the lot next door the pond was completely full and didn't look that bad. There was some damage from the ice storm, but not much....well.....August came and it dried up A LOT. There are broken branches and sticks and whole trees all over the place! After the boys woke up we went to watch and the boys played in the mud with their dump trucks.

Noah was told not to get too close to the pond because it was so muddy...Does Noah every listen??? No and he got stuck in mud over the top of his rubber boots and fell flat on his bottom in the mud with fishing pole in one had and mud in the other....A little later we went back to the house and got cleaned up. I switched with Tim around 11:30 and worked for a few hours before we switched again until about 4:30. It was so hot it made you sick...The boys had fun though! Oh and after the boys had their evening bath we went back down just to check it out and Noah forgot that mud above the boots means he is going to fall on his bottom so he did it again...so much for that bath!

Thursday we got up and were on the road by 6:30 am. We visited Mama in Tulsa for breakfast and then we went to our favorite shoe store Trippets for the boy's fall shoes and picked up granny from her work around lunch and headed to her house. The boys fished all afternoon with granny and daddy. The main reason we went was because I had a meeting at the college I am teaching at in Claremore, so I did that around 4:00...Came back to granny's, had dinner, played a little while longer, stopped by Mama's again to say by and got home around midnight...(I am trying to cram a whole week in one blog and this is hard!!)

I am drawing a blank for Friday and Saturday...Sunday we went to church and then a luncheon after church until around 2:15. We then went shopping and didn't get home until 4:30 or so...

Just a side note: 4:30 until bedtime for the boys is so busy if done right...with cooking dinner, forcing kids to eat, cleaning up dinner, cleaning up the mess the boys made while you were cooking dinner, bath time, clean the bathroom that was destroyed by gallons of water on the floor, dress 3 wiggly boys, put baby to bed, chase boys around the house until you can get them in their rooms, oh yah and make the infamous chocalate milk for bed (carnation instant breakfast and milk) ..read books and answer Noah's 2o questions about every single picture...right now I just heard him say, "That's a big cat!" Tim is reading to them right now...continuing on with the nightly routine....lights out, hall light on, and it is "boys get back in bed, boys go to sleep, boys be quiet, I said IN BED, I said GO TO SLEEP, NOAH YOU POOPED 1o minutes ago, you don't need to go again, Aiden you don't need Noah in the bathroom with you while you poop...You don't need to pee, didn't you pee when you went poop 5 minutes ago....OKAY BEDTIME! NOW!!" and then maybe if your lucky they go to sleep... whoooo...I am tired just typing this!

Monday was fun because we met our long time friends Jonathan and Stacey and their little girls Joncie and Jayden at Frontier City Amusement Park in Oklaoma City. It is 50 cent Mondays for the Military so we all got in for 3.oo dollars (plus the 7.00 per car parking fee) It was drizzly and cool all day which was actually great becuase we didn't suffocate in 100 degree weather and lines were short and we got to ride everything! Joncie and Aiden rode the little roller coaster probably 20 times throughout the day. Noah rode the log ride with Daddy and Aiden twice! They all rode the rapids and Aiden rode the big roller coaster with daddy. He said he would never ride that again when he got off, but earlier this evening he said he wanted to ride it again...he is definitely brave... We arrived there a few minutes after 12:00pm and left a little after 7:00 ...The boys were asleep before we even got on the highway...

Today I got up at 3:50 am to take Wyatt to the hospital to get tubes put in his ears. It went smooth, nothing major and we were home by 9:15am...He slept most of the morning and was pretty much a perfect angel all day! They said he would have them probably 18-24 months and to just not get his ears wet... Tim worked on the pond again this afternoon after he almost sliced off his thumb sharpening his chain on his chainsaw!! He's okay though. He goes back to work in the morning and the boys get to relearn mommies rules when they are home with her alone.... They would take over the house if I didn't keep them tied up in chairs all day ... hehehe...no not really...I stay tied up most of the day....oh okay, we usually just demolish the house and clean it up again 4 or 5 times a day. That is our day! I apologize for the long long blog this time.

<img width='1' height='1' the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History (according to the boys: Dinosaur museum). Like always, it felt like we were running through every exhibit to get to the next. As we were leaving the boys both got something from the gift shop again. Aiden got a T-Rex and Noah got a big cats puzzle and a small wind up dinosaur. They were happy. We headed home for a big lunch and spent an hour making it! But it was good! The boys rested and so did we.

We were all going to head to bricktown for the evening when my friend Audrey called and offered to watch the boys. It was so sweet of her and we were so appreciative. We went and saw the stockyards, toured the OKC Memorial, walked around the Bricktown canal, and ate dinner. Afterwards we got a starbucks coffee and headed home. We got home close to midnight. The boys and Audrey were asleep and we all crashed for the most part. The coffee didn't help Aunt Kim sleep very well and Tim was up quite awhile goofing with Fantasy Football.

The next day we decided to go to Incredible pizza and that was a blast! We had to find something indoors with the record hight temperatures outside. This was the best place. They had indoor go carts, bumper cars, miniature golf, arcades, climbing toys, and bowling! We were there over 3 hours. It felt like 3 hours too. The boys had everyone going a million directions. "I want to play basketball, I want to play mini golf, I want to throw the balls, I want to do that, I want to do this!" hahahaha..

They basically did everything and Wyatt had a pretty good time too. Aiden and Daddy raced against me and Noah in the Nascar go cart race. It was lots of fun. Aiden and Daddy got 1st place and a ribbon for it! When we left Incredible Pizza we were all very thirsty and stopped by the Sonic across the road and got Route 44 drinks. Way more than any of us could drink, (except for Tim). We again rested for a few hours at home before we headed to Norman to eat at Ted's Cafe Escondido, rated the best Mexican Resteraunt in the OKC metro area. They were right! It was delicious! Of course Noah and Wyatt didn't last very long. Can you imagine dinner with a 4, 2, and 1 year old? It was good for awhile and then they were tired of eating chips, hahahaha...We decided to get sopapillas to go..hmmmm..wonder why? hehehe....

What is a trip to Norman without Walmart? We had to get a few things, including OU shirts. Aunt Lisa and Aunt Kim bought Noah and Aiden their favorite movies that had been lost. They were so happy. We watched cars the rest of the night until everyone was asleep in the living room....bed again...and 4:15 wake up call for Aunt Kim, Aunt Lisa, and Tim...they had to be at the airport by 6:00. The boys and I slept in and when Tim came home he crawled back in bed too.

Today was a lot more laid back (like normal)....it was a nice relaxing day....and then we had a Dr's appt for Wyatt at the ear nose and throat specialist...we had to wait over an hour to see him and Wyatt got very cranky (screaming and crying) after the first 30 minutes we were there...then we see the doctor and he tells me that Wyatt should probably get tubes in his ears...so now we are waiting for that appt....I am just glad that Wyatt is going to stop having so many ear infections!

This evening I mowed while Daddy and the boys played in our miniature swimming pool and took baths. Wow, this is a long blog! I am trying to get the video from this weekend up, but I have to do it over because you tube doesn't accept videos longer than 10 minutes. I need to break it apart and save it as 4 seperate files. It takes forever to do this!! Each one takes over an hour! Keep looking for them though!

More Safari Pictures

Safari Day pictures

What a busy day! Aunt Kim and Aunt Lisa are very adventurous. Of course, that is after everyone slept in until 9:3o this morning. (That doesn't sound late does it??) We finally got in the car around 11:30. Part of the fun this morning was when I lost my contact case with my contacts in it. Daddy said that Noah had them so we quizzed Noah forever. He had no idea. Finally after we all had looked and looked and looked, Aunt Kim found them in her make-up bag where she had put them...hahaha.....This brings up yesterday evening when Aunt Kim couldn't find her phone because Noah had had it. We called it and called it again and again until she finall found it in her pants pocket in her suitcase.....hehehe....

It took us about an hour to get to the Arbuckle Wildnerness Safari in Davis,OK. We all recieved half price admission because of Tim's military discount so that was great! They gave us 8 cups of food for all the animals. We did the drive-thru zoo first and it was a blast! Although it isn't obvious there is a glass window between Tim and his camel girlfriend. She would have given him kisses if he would have let her...The picture above with Aunt Kim and Noah was hilarious. Noah would not smile for the camera so he was yelling, "No, I don't want to!" and Aunt Kim was trying to tell him to smile! It turned out a great picture. Wyatt got to crawl around on the floor while we drove through the park. Aiden sat on Aunt Lisa's lab and Noah sat on Aunt Kim's lap. At one point the ostriches were pecking at our windows. Nobody dared to roll the windows down at the point. Those ostriches just didn't get to eat because they did not ask nicely. We tried the walk thru zoo but at 104 degrees we were about to keel over. Aiden and daddy rode the go carts and then Daddy and Noah rode the bumper boats with Aunt Lisa and Aiden. They got off drenched from squirting each other.

After the safari we drove to Norman for Aiden's swim lessons. We took a detour through campus and then to McDonalds for a quick bite. Today at swim lessons we got to take pictures and video. After swim lessons we all swam until around 7:30. It was a great end to a great day. Right now daddy is trying to get Aiden and Noah to sleep, however, he isn't that mean....so Noah and Aiden are still awake. Aunt Lisa and Aunt Kim are knocked out on the couches. We are so glad that they came to visit...The boys are having so much fun. Tomorrow we are going to get up early and go to the Natural History Museum in Norman and then home for a big grilled chicken, corn on the cob, fried okra lunch and then later to bricktown in OKC for a night on the town with the boys. We may take them to see Kung Fu Panda. I guess I have to post the rest of the pictures in a different post....So you will so those shortly.

Granny and Papa

Granny and Papa came and visited this weekend. Aiden couldn't wait for the wooden airplanes that Papa brings. He gets them for free from the water deparment in Oologah. This weekend was better than most because we didn't focus on clearing the woods and planting grass because it was just too hot. Everyone got to play a lot.

The baby kitty has disappeared. We aren't sure want happened to him. Every once in awhile Aiden will say, "I miss my baby kitty."

Aiden also started swim lessons this week. They are every night for 30 minutes. Last night the boys and I stayed and swam. Aiden played on the slides the whole time while Noah, Wyatt and I swam around in the big pool. Noah actually wore his life jacket and jumped in the pool over and over again. I was so happy he was comfortable again in the water.

One last highlight of the last few days: Wyatt is actually letting go of the furniture and taking a couple of steps. Yeah!! I knew he was going to be in the paper, but I had no idea it would be the front page! We went to the dr. Tuesday because he was coming down with another ear infection and the Dr. came in and asked if they could use Wyatt as a prop. The Mother's Day Out direction at McFarlin called this morning to make sure I knew he was on the front page. I thought that was sweet that she recognized him.

Grandma went home yesterday after rescuing my flower bed from being cooked. The boys had lots of frogs the last few days from all of the watering. They had so much fun while she was here. I usually don't let them have frogs anymore. Why you ask? Well.....after an hour or two of playing with Aiden and Noah the frogs usually don't make it. They don't realize that frogs can't handle sliding down the slide 30 times...hahaha..

This evening we went to Audrey's again and swam. Noah seems a little bit more comfortable now that we have been been 3 or 4 times. He loved swimming last summer. Aiden was the same way. It was almost like he had forgotten from one summer to the next when he was Noah's age. This is a picture of Audrey with the three boys. They really enjoy being around her. They always talk about her and ask when we are going to see her again. She has truly been a blessing. She is the first person other than family to watch the three of them all at once. She is brave!!

These are the steps that Noah swims on. He won't venture off of them no matter if I am holding him or not. Mommy makes him try to swim so he doesn't like it. Aiden loves his goggles this year. This winter he swam at a hotel pool for a long time and his eyes were burned from the chlorine because he opened his eyes too much underwater. These goggles were a must.

Wyatt mainly sits happily in his floaty. After awhile I get him out and let him play on the steps too. He has no fear (or understanding) of falling in. He would crawl off the edge if I let him!

Dressing ourselves

Today was a lot of fun. The boys played a lot in the pool outside. Their favorite part was watching the whirlpools that formed while it was draining out the drain hole on the bottom. They spent 45 minutes putting pieces of grass and dirt in the whirlpool and watching it go through the hole. Noah had to get dressed by himself this morning. Long sleeve shirt, sweatpants, and his fanny pack around his neck full of cars. Hahaha, he was going on a trip he said. I had to have him pose for a picture.. Wyatt and Aiden play so good together. Aiden loves to walk him around and then fall down together. They also chase each other and Aiden tries to scare him by roaring really loud at him. Normally this gets out of control and entirely too noisy for mommy. I deal as long as I can though because it is so cute.
Aiden was having fun earlier building towers. As you can see in this picture, he built his tower high up because the baby had been knocking his tower down all morning. Not only did he build it above the babies reach, he went in and built two more towers, one for the baby, and one for Noah so that they would leave his alone. This didn't work, everyone still wanted Aiden's. At one point Aiden had his tower on the coffee table and Noah was jumping as hard as he could so that he mimicked an earthquake knocking the tower down.

Grandma came to visit today. She is going to stay a few days. Grandma loves to work outside and so the rest of the afternoon the boys played on their tricycles and found frogs to play with. They love their Grandma.

Friday Night Fun

Friday night at VBS was crazy! As you can see from the first picture, there were tons of kids. They had all of VBS classes in front singing songs. Aiden didn't sing, hahaha...he saw his daddy and pointed and giggled and would hide behind the other kids and completely ignore his teacher...he was so cute though! I am trying to upload the video from the program. The picture on the right is Aiden being cheesy with his hat on funny...At the end of the program they showed pictures of the whole week..it went on and on and on and on.. We had to leave before it was over because everyone was just too tired and restless to sit in the pews any longer. Outside they jumped on a jupiter jump and slid down a big blow up slide. Overall the week was a lot of fun.

Saturday mom had a girls day out at Whitewater Bay (waterpark) in OKC while daddy and the boys had a boys party day. They went to a small zoo east of Norman and Aiden was allowed to pet a HUGE python. They also got to pet a porcupine, fox, monitor lizard, and a big tortoise. They also got to see monkeys, bears, cougars, and a lynx. Later they went to a big park and then to McDonalds. The kids love chicken and french fries! That night the boys got to stay up very very late because daddy loves to be with his boys even if it means they are going to be cranky for mom the next day!

Sunday we all went to church at McFarlin United Methodist in Norman. My friend Audrey who I went to high school with and another friend of mine, Christi, that I taught with at Oologah also went to church with us. Aiden was excited to go to his class again, and Noah actually stayed in his own room this time! He screamed as I was leaving him, but they said he calmed down fairly quickly. Last Sunday, Noah was allowed to be in the same room as Aiden so that he felt more secure. We came home after church and had lunch and then played with the boys in their small pool outside. We rested for part of the afternoon and then went back to Norman and met Audrey at her condo. There is a pool in her complex and she invited us to swim there this evening. We played for an hour or so and then headed home for bath and bedtime!

Vacation Bible School

Aiden has been going to vacation bible school this week at the Blanchard First United Methodist Church. He is having a blast. Last night he got to bring home the hat he made. He was so upset the night before because they wouldn't let him bring his hat home. We couldn't figure out why he couldn't...maybe he got in trouble....maybe he didn't finish it.....well.....the paint was wet and he knew that was why! He didn't tell us until almost bed time! This is a picture of his new hat..

The funny story from last night: We hopped in the car and headed to the church. I drive slow and it is only a few miles to the church. We went in, ate dinner, and sent Aiden off to his class. Noah, Wyatt and I were leaving the church and I glanced over at a group of girls by the front door who were talking about a kitten. It was our kitten!! I said, hey, that's our kitten, I wonder how he got here??? They didn't believe me! They said, well...what is his name then?? I told them it was Milo and reached for the kitten again! Still, no kitty....An older man was standing close by and was trying to get the girls to come inside to go to class and that was the only way we got our kitten back! The question is, how did he get there? All I can figure is he was under the car all the way from the house to the church. I am just glad he made it and wasn't taken before we found him!

Recent Pictures

Aiden and Noah love that kitty!

Noah is such a big boy sitting in the chair with his baby

kitty. Her apartment complex has it's own pool and it was fun! She was such a big help. Noah wasn't very interested at first. In fact, he was crying for awhile. He did not want to put his life jacket on at all. We really haven't gone to a big pool yet this summer because of the move and everything going on so Noah is not very comfortable with the water. Last summer he went under all the time. This summer, no way! Hopefully we can go more often and he will get over his fears again.

Wyatt loved his new floatie...It has a sunshade and was perfect for him. Aiden had new goggles and wore them the whole time diving for diving sticks that we bought. After we were done swimming we went and got something to eat and brought it back to Audrey's apartment. We ate lunch and attempted to keep the kids sitting on their bottoms, but as most of you know, that is very very hard to do. We finally decided to head home. Aiden as Vacation Bible School again tonight so we needed to get ready for that.

I took a picture this morning of Aiden and Noah in our bed. Evidence that we never wake up alone! We may go to bed alone, but they always find their way into our bed before morning. They usually kick us out of bed. The couch is a lot more comfortable than the bed with 4 of us.

I have been playing with a video editing program. I plan on posting videos...Of course I planned on taking pictures today at the pool and that didn't happen. A friend of mine showed me her blog and I thought it was the coolest thing. She posts almost daily. I don't know if I will be that diligent, but I will try!

Today we mostly played outside in the little kiddie pool. It has a slide built into the side of it. They go crazy! They splash and chase each other and get everything in close proximity soaking wet! The baby wanted to get in today, but I just let him hang on the side with his hands in the water.

I also have the playpen set up on the porch to help corral baby Wyatt. Early this morning the boys had made it a tent and were pretending to sleep with the kitty in their "playpen tent." I can't believe the kitten puts up with those two little guys.

Everyone is asleep right now but Noah. You will notice as time goes on that he never sleeps! I have to put him back in bed many many times before he finals goes out. It never fails when I finally get him to sleep the baby is ready to get up.

Well that is all for now....hopefully there will be lots more to follow!
